Part 1: Play Audio 12 Interface Configuration
Part 2: Ableton 10 Output Configuration
Part 1 - Play Audio 12 Interface Configuration
The Play Audio 12 can store settings on the internal memory so that anyone new who connects will not need to set those. Here is the process for storing settings to the internal memory.
If you haven’t installed the iConfig utility, download HERE. Auracle isn’t the software. You’re looking for iConfig below that. After installing, open iConfig and establish a connection to the interface.
Step 1 - Set analog output levels
Step 2 - Configure output patch
Step 3 - Verify audio sample rate configuration
Audio Configuration: “6-48000Hz, 24bit
USB 1/2 I/O: 2 out channels,14 in channels
If this is already set, do nothing. If settings need to be updated, after making the changes, select Commit and Reset. The device will then reboot.
Step 4 - Save settings to device
Step 5 - Physical output patch
Part 2 - Ableton 10 Output Configuration
Step 1 - Select output device
Select PlayAUDIO12 as the Audio Output Device
Match the other settings to the following picture (i.e. Sample Rate, etc.)
Step 2 - Set output configuration and verify the tracks are routed correctly.
Step 3 - Match these miscellaneous settings.
