How to: Format an External Drive for Use with Grass Vally T2
This is the driver needed for an Apple Computer in order to format an external drive for use in a T2.

Before you start, ensure you have the T2 SSD drive on hand.
Part 1 - Installing the Driver
To get started, you will need download the install file HERE (Click “Download Now”)
- Open the downloaded .dmg file
- Follow the install prompts

At the product key step, select Registered Version and enter the following key:
- FZ1TQP-H5K7CL-F7JAD4-PJJH00-6DC06G
- When prompted to enter the computer password, if you are not able to type any characters, open the computer’s system preferences.
- Select Tuxera at the bottom.
- Click Activation
- Enter the Product Key
- Click Activate
- Close the installer window
Part 2 - Formatting an external drive
- Open Disk Utility
- Select the external drive
- Choose Windows NT File System (Tuxera NTFS)
- Name the drive “Campus Name T2”
- Click Erase.
- If the process fails. Repeat the steps.
