How To: Jem Compact Hazer Maintenance
This document will walk you through the proper shut down process of a Jem Compact Pro Hazer. Occasionally, air bubbles can get into the line and cause the unit to not function properly. If these steps are not followed, it does not necessarily cause the unit harm, however it may contribute to the unit not outputting down the road. Part 1 - Check if shut down switch light is on
Part 2 - Press shut down switch button
Part 3 - Power off unit
Before you start, ensure that the hazer sequence on the console is indeed toggled off, and no haze is coming from the unit.
Part 1 - Check if shut down switch light is on
- Step 1 - If shut down light is on, that is the unit indicating that a self cleaning cycle is needed.
- Step 2 - If the shut down light is not on, you can simply power off the unit and go about your life.
Part 2 - Press the shut down switch button
- Step 1 - Pressing the shut down switch initiates a self cleaning cycle which will be indicated by a 45 second countdown on the main LED display located on the top of the unit.
- Step 2 - Once the unit has completed the self cleaning cycle, it is safe to move onto step 3
Part 3 - Powering off the unit
- Step 1 - Flip the main power switch to the off position and go about your life.
