Part 1 - Overview
The Stream Deck is a convenient and easy way to use fire Live Time clocks throughout the worship experience. Each preset in Live Time can be assigned to a Stream Deck button making it a simple, single click to fire a clock that also updates all information on the Live Time output.
Part 2 - Live Time Preset Overview
This is a picture of the 9 standard presets we have created for a worship experience and an overview of what they do. These are updated each weekend with the specific clock lengths for the welcome, close, sermon, and any videos. While these presets with their formatting are the preferred and recommended configurations, campuses have the freedom to customize as needed.
- Preset 1 - Run-through: Starts an 8:00am count to time clock
- Preset 2 - 9:30 Start: Starts an 9:28am count to time clock
- Preset 3 - 11:30 Start: Starts an 11:28am count to time clock
- Preset 4 - Welcome: Starts a clock for the welcome
- Preset 5 - Video End: Starts a clock counting to the end of a video
- Preset 6 - ^Link Ready: Starts a 1:00 clock counting down for the band to call to fire ^Link
- Preset 7 - Sermon: Starts a clock counting up from 0:00
- Preset 8 - Close: Starts a clock for the close
- Preset 9 - Clear All: Clears the output of all content other than time of day
Part 3 - Updating Presets
Updating presets each weekend is a quick and easy process.
-
Step 1 - Open the Live Time Presets under the window menu.
-
Step 2 - Select the title of the Preset that needs to be updated.
-
Step 3 - Make the necessary updates to the preset, then click save. (In most situations, the only update will be the length of the clock)
-
Step 4 - Fire the preset with the Stream Deck to verify the change.
Part 1 - Troubleshooting
The most common problem encountered is the Stream Deck stops triggering the Live Time presets. If this occurs, try these solutions in the following order.
- Unplug the USB cable from the Stream Deck or computer and reconnect.
- Delete and reload the Stream Deck file.
