2023 Graphics Execution Standards and Suggestions
*This article is intended to be a list of best practices when it comes to the execution of graphics, videos and screen support. Use best judgment and read the room as some of the timing may change based on programming. The execution laid out in this document is our desire for excellence and is also consistent with our style and brand, but may not always be the best option.

SONG LYRICS
Lyric Theme:
- How - Use the current Propresenter theme on Prodrive:
(filepath:afp://10.1.42.52/ProDrive/01_GlobalAssets/04_Libraries/02_ProPresenter/02_Pro7_Themes)
- If using worship visuals, place the lyrics center justified, if using IMAG place lyrics on lower third and adjust size based on campus/venue’s need.
- Why - We want to keep a consistent style across all campuses.
Lyric Timing for CG1:
- How - Hold on first lyric until keyed on.
- Advance to the next slide on the last syllable of the last word. Use your best judgment on timing depending on the tempo of the song.
- Hold on the last lyric of the song until keyed off.
- Why - We want to keep a consistent style of dissolve transitions for lyrics coming on and off screens. We also desire to have lyrics ready slightly before the Worship Leader sings.
SERMON:
Host Reading From Screen:
-
How - Hold on first scripture until keyed on.
-
If Pastor/Host is reading from their bible or notes.
- Throw first verse when they start reading
- Advance to next slide when first word of next slide is read
-
If Pastor/Host is reading from the screen
- Advance on second to last word of slide in order to lead them.
- For Points do not list numbers in front of them. Simply include text only.
-
For a title or point, display on screen and write it down, then count to 5 before pulling it off screen so guests have plenty of time to write it down themselves.
-
For l3rd scripture, the maximum lines you should have on a lower third slide is 3. If you can’t fit the entire verse on the screen, simply create a line break and include the rest of the verse on a second slide.
- For Fullscreen scripture, only include one verse on a slide at a time.
- Don’t include “a” or “b” on the reference verse number. Simply have the same verse reference on each slide.
- Don’t include verse numbers in the main body text.
- Why - We want to keep a consistent style of dissolve transitions for scripture coming on and off screens. We also desire to have scripture ready right when host reads or lead them if necessary.
